I'm so excited that the 4th Grade Common Core Workbook from Have Fun Teaching has just been released! I have been watching and expectantly waiting for this day, as the K - 3 books have been out for some time and look like wonderful resources for their respective grades. In looking through the fourth grade book, I quickly realized that I am not going to be disappointed.
As a former classroom teacher and current homeschooling instructor, I have learned to quickly weed out resources that claim to be helpful but turn out to be both a waste of time and of money. This workbook meets the new Common Core Standards through both activities and engaging worksheets. In browsing through a sample copy today I have already found plenty of components that I will be able to use in my instruction this week. The book is captivatingly designed, with plenty of eye-pleasing graphics and well laid out student worksheets.
I hope that you all will get as much use out of this book as I know I will!
